   actually, i think if they had done a violent stunt people would have been   
   less upset. if you wanted to put it into perspective, the tit-flash was   
   more like a scary explosion or a gun shot. we are talking about 'degree'   
   here. a beheading would be like she stripped naked and spread her legs.   
   that would be unacceptable for a show teens and kids may be watching. but a   
   tit-flash just makes stupid people have something to gossip about. it   
   didn't hurt anyone. let's say they had one mascot run out with a prop gun a   
   "shoot" the other mascot. people, for the most part, would just find that   
   funny. i would too, as an adult. but children really do process that as   
   "pick sides and kill enemy". if a 10 year old boy saw Janet's half-second   
   of boobage, the worst that may have happen is he went and jerked off. a lot   
   better than going to school the next day and getting in a fight over the   
   teams that played.
