Otherwise, how so?              The show has to be entertaining and the show has to build a community of       support. I've found Lampher damned annoying and cold for years on public       radio. My nickname for her was the "Iron Lampher" and I would never have       _wanted_ to call into her show the way she acted toward listeners. I did a       little Jules Feiffer Rites of Spring dance when I learned that she       resigned. And had to take it back the same day when the evening news said       she would cohost Franken.              And Franken has got to expend more calories over the course of the three       hours. A radio show isn't a college panel discussion. No, they are       _really_ lucky that, despite what the conservatives say, there aren't any       other liberal shows on, because if they had serious competition to fill       the need.....              Doesn't mean I won't continue listening.
