   Well, folks, the main question remains, over three years later: is this a   
   war on terror, or is it a war on terror?   
      
   Years ago, after 9-11-2001, I said that until the US went on a full war   
   footing, said "fuck China," jailed every mullah and imam in the country to   
   special joints where they could preach damnation to each other 24/7,   
   reopened our own heavy industry and steel mills, eradicated foreign   
   lobbyists with severe prejudice, brought full military production back on   
   shore, shut down the borders, and put 3 to 5 million no-nonsense anti-terror   
   men under arms, and began seriously kicking ass wherever the need arose,   
   that this would be a phony war on terror.   
      
   I rest my case. It is still a phony war on terror. At least until the nut   
   cases do their first nukes. Then, things will finally get serious.   
      
   The enemy here is not Rumsfeld, nor Bush. The enemy is the left-wing that   
   always sides with any enemy the country comes up with. The enemy is the   
   entire government bureaucracy that still prevents the proper gear from going   
   to the troops while they dot the eyes and cross the tees and send armored   
   hummers to Japan, Korea, California, and other hot spots. The enemy is the   
   immovable, unrelenting snobs wherever they happen to be whose inertia   
   entirely stifles anything remotely resembling a US going on a war footing.   
      
   The only thing that continually remains exactly true to form is the whining   
   noisy leftists who still do their damndest to make sure the real war on   
   terror never gets off square one.
