   Completely true.   
      
   Exhibit 2, John McCain.  During the 2000 campaign, the Bush camp   
   conjured up, out of thin air, an utterly pointless accusation about John   
   McCain's horrible temper, and somehow buried him with it.  It was   
   bizarre.  Politics is a dirty game, and Rove is the dirtiest of all.
