   How does the show existing or not existing negate the fact that a   
   large majority of the fan base sees Ryan being cast as 7 of 9 a   
   gimmick?   
      
   Yeah ... when I think half-human/half-machine rescued from an insect   
   like collective dressed in a cat-suit, CMFP high heels, padded chest   
   plate, &  corset.   
      
   It is possible, perhaps, that an early cancellation of VOY would have   
   led to some serious soul searching on the part of TPTB & maybe given   
   us, the fans, a better product.   
      
   I think it is wonderful you loved the character & loved the show.   
   IDIC and all that.  It doesn't mean the rest of us won't look at some   
   of the choices made & questio them.
