   The last quarter Indian economy grew at 7.8% YOY. But the growth is uneven.   
   Quality of life is not just determined by GDP. Things like freedom, literacy,   
   and human rights also matter. The Indian media has become a mouthpiece for the   
   authorities,    
   repeating whatever facts and fiction, the government wants them to. The   
   personal, social, economic, and political freedom of people are limited by the   
   authorities, from the community to the national government. The literacy rate   
   is much lower than China'   
   s. Critics of the authorities are detained and tortured without due process.   
      
   China has shown that fast economic growth doesnt require freedom, or has it?   
   Chinese economic growth has slowed down as the state has become more   
   authoritarian. Unless India becomes more free, economic growth will slow down.   
   And what use is money, when    
   you are not free to spend it as you choose, and live as you choose?   
      
   Modi is a criminal, and a significant part of his ruling party are criminals.   
   Just because they are part of the ruling government, doesnt absolve them of   
   their crimes. The truth is that Indians are not free.
