   Politics is a set of skills, just as brain surgery is.  Both require   
   on-the-job training in addition to education.  Eight years as a dog   
   catcher doesn't prepare you for four years as POTUS.   
      
   Where do you suppose people are going to get those skills, if not   
   as part of a career?
