   Bics work fine on joints and hash, but suck for freebase and ice   
   - butane isn't hot enough.  Most folks into those drugs use   
   small propane torches, or cotton balls soaked in 90% isopropyl   
   or Bacardi 151.   
      
   I've also seen quaaludes quartered and smoked in base pipes,   
   using a torch.
