From: Henryindivideo@webtv.net              Thank you jenn for taken note. I figured no one was paying any attention       and had stopped posting. I have written to mass cann and other marijuana       groups and complain that I haven't see any real change. That we were       closer to legalizing marijuana in the mid 60's than we are now. I have       received some responses from these groups saying that they are making       advances and have more optimism than me. I see powerful government       groups, like the dea, police and jail industries that have no intentions       of losing the billions of dollars it is getting by keeping marijuana       illegal. Again, it's the peoples fault for not telling congress and the       senate to change the drug laws. That marijuana should be legal. Only       when the people speak up against the current drug laws, vote those who       oppose changing the current drug laws out of office and vote in persons       more sensible. I am just amazed at the apathy that is current in this       country, in congress, in the senate. Just legalizing marijuana so that       it could be grown, sold, used in medical research and products ( oils,       fabric, ect) would free the dea and police to concentrate on the heavy       drugs like heroin. Are americans asleep?              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
