From: tjackmars@shaw.ca              I can't see how pot will ever be legalized in the North American culture.       The culture is built upon rules and regulations and if marijuana is no       longer illegal, then who will control it?       I hear of buying it in stores like tobacco or cigarettes, yes, that is the       sale of the refined product. The unrefined or whole product is a bud that I       grow, say, legally now, so I don't buy bud anymore. Who else will aftter       awhile? You'll have to control seeds, clones, soil, equipment, etc.       Some will say those that don't want the hassle of growing, will want it       available commercially. I'm sure somebody will lay fat-free buds on tthose       people.       So how could you market it?       You could give a guy life in prison for selling it and nobody will, because       there'll be nobody buying it.       They will probably have to come up witth some pretty lowball stuff for       somebody to take control.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
