XPost: alt.support.marijuana       From: a425couple@hotmail.com               From Heinlein FB forum              JCC Addiction be damned. I hurt. Take many pain meds with addiction       written all over them. I would love to live in a state that has       marijuana edibles to control my debilitating pain. I could become       addicted to something delicious that improves my pain, and thus enable       me to live instead of medicate and veg              LF - JCC, have you at least vacationed in a state with legal marijuana?       IMHO edible THC and/or CBD is definitely worth checking out.              JCC - LF Have a friend in Colorado that calls me to tease me with the       next greatest edible she has tasted. What a meanie. Have not tried       anything. First, I wasn't going to jail. I worked for the Attorney       General in my State. Would have instantly lost my job. But in       retirement, and in this much pain, I might go visit my friend and just       take over her guest bedroom! Constant pain is taking away the fun from       my life and there most be some middle ground between addiction and jail?       There must be a substance in development somewhere that is testing       something that will make me happy without rehab or prison as an       alternative. Alcohol has too many calories and I need every brain cell       that I have left!              LF - "Life is not supposed to be an endurance contest to see how much       pain you can put up with." If you are retired and in constant pain, IMHO       try doing something! I am retired (actually LEO), and in Washington       state where marijuana is legal, regulated and defined. I will for health       reasons not smoke or vape. Edibles are slow to take effect (1 to 1 & 1/2       hours) and last a fair time (4 to 6 hours), so take things slow and       easy. In Washington one 'dose' is 10 mg THC. When I had shingles (GD       little invisible person with pliers on my nipple!) I found 2 to 3 mg THC       let me read etc. and I could still felt pain etc., but I was not       obsessed with when the next 'pinch' would come! BTW, here a box of 10       doses (total 100 mg THC) caramel cost about $30.00. So the cost is cheap       to try. Some find CBD very beneficial and there are many products with       both CBD & THC. I'll send this now, may try to add more later.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
