   I am an advocate of the homeless here in San Clemente.   
      
   In reading the candidates for City Council’s response toward addressing   
   homelessness, Shane Hirschman has the only reasonable solutions. All of   
   the other candidates simply want to push it off to the county or a   
   regional solution or collaboration with neighboring cities.   
      
   They say they agree with the need for housing—but not in San Clemente.   
   Shane gets it, knows what needs to be done and will work for a cleaner,   
   safer city that can make San Clemente proud of what it does for the less   
   fortunate in our midst.
