   Really?  You really believe that?  I suggest you talk to some specialists   
   on cognition.   
      
   How about if you go for 48 hours without sleep (not using any drugs).  Are   
   you telling me your state of consciousness at the end of the 48 hours will   
   be the same as when you started?   
      
   How about people under hypnosis?   
      
   How about your state of mind immediately after a bad scare?
