   understand the basic gist of it, dogs have no problem carrying on   
   conversations.   
      
   And think of the heightened sense of smell & hearing that allows dogs to   
   track other animals, or even people...   
      
   How many humans can do that?   
      
   So, no, we really aren't that different.
