   A veto which would shut down the government and those o, so important   
   transfer payments called Social Security and welfare?   
      
   Hardly an option, though I do chastise Bush for profligate overspending and   
   breaking his promise to let the states decide about medical marijuana.   
      
   What could be more compassionate than for the conservatives to give on this   
   one point?   
      
   But these two bad points are not enough to get me to vote for Howard Dean or   
   whoever the Demo nominee is.
