   When 3/4 of the pistils are brown, when viewed under a loop 3/4 of the   
   trichombs are amber. If many heads are missing its TOO late!!   
   But usually, indoors it is NOT that critical! I would use the guidlines of   
   the strain and add 10%. If it is mostly indica, shorter, mostly sativa or   
   pure sativa 9 to 11 weeks of flower is NOT long!
