   to survive. It learned from communist China where capitalist enterprise and   
   production thrives and so do increasing numbers of Chinese. But then you might   
   not have noticed.    
      
   The Commune does nothing. Only people do.    
      
   The most famous quote from The Wealth of Nations is Smith’s statement: “It   
   is not from the benevolence of the butcher, the brewer, or the baker, that we   
   expect our dinner, but from their regard to their own self-interest.”
