From: wernerhetzner@gmail.com              As I understand things, we both want to avoid violence or at least miniseries       violence. We both recognize the value of ‘limiting’ power over others with       small political jurisdictions. I suspect our differences arise because you       assume the group is        more important than the individuals. I believe the opposite. In my ideal world       individuals interact voluntarily without compulsion. Someone can voluntarily       give something to others but not be forced to do so. You, on the other hand,       demand individual        self sacrifice for your ‘society’. In my world anybody can act in any way       they choose as long as no force or fraud is used against someone else.       Furthermore, any sacrifice an individual makes is voluntary. There is no       ‘duty’ to the State, the        employer or anyone unless you consent to it. Socialists have a different       perspective. I don’t think there is a Public Interest because there is no       Public. There are only people. They have competing interests. Politics is an       exploitation tool.        Government is politics.        http://www.endit.info/Theft.shtml       http://www.endit.info/Costs.shtml              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
