   The term 'Injun' would get you scalped by the locals...  While it's true   
   they did not understand the European ideas of ownership they certainly   
   understood the concept of neighboring tribes infringing on their areas.   
   Similar to the European Völkerwanderungen, as the established tribes   
   moved westward under the pressure of settlers in the east, the conflicts   
   were often quite bloody.
