   I think it is best to have a multi-purpose system, which ranges from   
   individual easy to do activities: propaganda, using your buying power,   
   setting up co-operative businesses, to reform using the State, to a   
   civil tidy and cute “velvet glove” Revolution, to resistance to   
   tyranny, if need be armed, to open front civil war, to a distributed   
   cell resistance inside a tyranny we cannot overthrow yet.   
      
   Take your pick in what you think you can do, and what is needed. If you   
   want the exact details, I'll be happy to get into it. Right now I think   
   we better be ready to defend others from tyranny, and everything on the   
   less forceful spectrum should also be done.

   What I would call the Revolution, is when we replace Parliament with the   
   Council Government. You can argue that the Revolution is great changes in   
   the economy. Since by definition Socialism is democratic (or at least I   
   wouldn't call it Social(ist) if it isn't), a change in the economy would   
   by definition be voted in, right ? Since we want a more democratic State   
   than Parliament can provide (who are elected every 4 years, and then they   
   do whatever they want, which is precisely what the 1917 Revolutionary   
   Council Governments where about, correct ?), it follows that it couldn't   
   even work if there wasn't at least a local majority behind it.   
      
   In any case, the method I see is: we can join and should join   
   Parliamentary elections. At the same time we set up the Council   
   Government, but we play-act it as a good cause. It is open to all to vote   
   in, and runs on donations. Then it does good works, whatever that may   
   be. Over time it might become more popular than Parliament. If it has more   
   voters in it than in Parliament, it naturally becomes Sovereign. If that   
   happens, our political parties would already be in control of Parliament,   
   anyway. Hence the Revolution could be a non event.   
      
   Expected time to complete a project like this: 50-300 years. It can   
   only happen faster if there are sudden grave changes in the world,   
   which make the population change their mind in a drastic way. Such   
   changes shouldn't be actively sought, but if they happen they should   
   be exploited. Such changes will come, because Capitalist Parliament is   
   notoriously corrupt. It is only a matter of time until the next World War,   
   the complete wrecking of the economy by the Plutocracy, etc.
