   That was going to happen sooner or later. I grew up in a tough mill   
   town. In the '60s when the riots were going around the local blacks   
   briefly considered raising some hell. Then they looked around at the   
   white boys just waiting...   
      
   Springsteen's 'My Hometown' could have been written about the place,   
   right down to closing down the textile mills. And, yeah, there was a   
   Mossberg 12 gauge in the back of my '60 Plymouth, just in case.
