Nah, Europeans are quite good on their geography of other European
countries. Being told we're Austrians has always been what we've been
told by Americans. The best example was when I was told multiple times,
and finally quite insistently, by a group of Americans, that Australia
was in Europe and we spoke German. We were in Scandinavia at the time
and my insistence that I knew where my country was and that it was the
large island continent to the south west of Hawaii was treated as a lie.
