   Defender of the faith applies only to the Church of England and does not   
   apply to any of the other members in the Anglican communion so she has   
   no power in the SEC other than as the head of a fellow religion but this   
   has applied to senior catholic clergy and the Dalai llama IIRC.   
      
   Anyone can comment on, condemn or scold the church the queen included.   
   As head of state in scotland her words may carry more weight but she   
   cannot impose her rule on the church.
