   He was shot in a daylight attack at the Stanley Meat Market in Old Swan,   
   Liverpool this morning.   
      
   Thomas “Tommy” Baker, 44, was taken to hospital with injuries to his head   
   and chest but was later pronounced dead.   
       
   Police say the shooting, which happened at around 8.15am, appears to be a   
   “targeted incident”.   
       
   A trader in the market said: “I saw blood and people trying to help a guy.”
