   I think you're talking about the idea of a nation here.  A collection of   
   people defined by a common culture and the restrictions of geography.   
   Maybe a few other things too.  I think people in general have evolved to   
   be comfortable in their national setting, and those that are content   
   with the situation react adversely if they feel that it is being   
   undermined.  I think this is why the globalists have worked so hard to   
   turn 'nationalist' into some kind of insult - it is a natural obstacle   
   to their ambitions.
