XPost: alt.home.repair, alt.politics.scorched-earth, uk.politics.misc       XPost: uk.legal, alt.politics.uk       From: burfordTjustice@tues.uk              Does she know how not to lie?        However as a female black negro democrat she is protected.              In January, Susan Rice Assured NPR the Obama Admin Removed Chemical       Weapons From Syria              According to a recent headline from Reuters, "U.S. intelligence agencies       suspect Assad did not turn over all chemical weapons stockpile." The evidence       of the recent chemical attack in Syria makes that declaration little more than       stating the obvious.        However, back in January in an in interview with NPR, Obama national security       adviser Susan Rice was still touting the Obama administration's success at       removing chemical weapons in Syria:                     We were able to find a solution that didn't necessitate the use of force that       actually removed the chemical weapons that were known from Syria, in a way       that the use of force would never have accomplished. Our aim in contemplating       the use of force        following the use of chemical weapons in August of 2013 was not to intervene       in the civil war, not to become involved in the combat between Assad and the       opposition, but to deal with the threat of chemical weapons by virtue of the       diplomacy that we did        with Russia and with the Security Council. We were able to get the Syrian       government to voluntarily and verifiably give up its chemical weapons       stockpile.              Between her dubious public statements on Benghazi, the Bowe Bergdahl       desertion, her recent denial that she knew anything about unmasking Trump       officials' identities in intelligence reports, and now this—it would seem       Rice has a real problem with        credibility.              And here's a bonus question from National Review's David French that's worth       pondering in light of the revelation Syria still has chemical weapons. Sleep       well:                     David French               I wonder when we'll be having this same conversation, but about Iranian nukes              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
