   whole of Cornwall for five years   
      
   A FOUL-MOUTHED yob has been banned from swearing anywhere in Cornwall after   
   repeatedly hurling abuse at people after drinking sessions.   
      
   Exasperated cops have slapped Shane Barrett, 31, with an ASBO banning him from   
   using foul language or being intoxicated anywhere in the county for FIVE years.

   Helen Toms from Cornwall Council’s Anti-Social Behaviour Team said: “Shane   
   Barrett has continued to behave in an unacceptable manner and the public has   
   been subjected to his persistent bad behaviour whilst intoxicated; foul   
   language and total    
   disregard for the public and the community for far too long.   
      
   “With this in mind and the long history of support that has been offered   
   from various agencies, we had no choice but to act with the full force and   
   powers at our disposal.”   
      
   Cops said that Barrett’s abusive campaign began in St Austell before he   
   began visiting other towns in the county and exposing more people to his foul   
   mouthed tirades.   
      
   Police Inspector Ed Gard said agencies had tried to support Barrett and help   
   him turn around his behaviour.   
      
   But, due to an escalation police said they were left with no other option than   
   to slap him with an ASBO.
