|    TV Tax for over 75    |

From: nial1l@hotmail.com              Hi all,              I have turned 75 on June 2020 . I received a letter containing my free       TV licence until the first of August . Now I have a new letter demanding       payment for then onwards. I feel AGE Uk simply buying time and helping       BBC keeping elderly asking government to interfere. I understand that       even Boris Johnson had said it was not fair to ask elderly pay. I can       even afford my cat's vet fees, which in my opinion has more priority in       our lives              I do not intend to pay because I feel, this was my “ earned right “ .              My neighbour does not think TV tax is not a law set by the parliment.              My wife says she will divorce me if bailiffs come to door.              Can BBC do that ? Can I be prosecuted if I refuse to pay.              Our combined pension is below minimum what government set. But since we       had savings I did not apply for pension credit thinking I will not be       awarded as our savings were above 70 K at the time , yet now those       savings are now less than 50 K as we are thinking of changing housing to       a different area .              Thank you for guidance              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
