   Question..... if atheists really care nothing about religion, then why would   
   they object to such a symbol?   
   I mean under their views it's just an abstract object.   
   So how could they find it objectionable?   
      
   If they are opposed to religion then wouldn't this be an attempt to force   
   the government to support their religious views and force that view on the   
   community?   
      
   Either way you slice it looks like atheists should simply ignore such items.
