   define your social relations in terms of violence ("red of tooth and   
   claw"), is that not sociopathology? I have tried to argue at length   
   that sociability makes good sense in terms of science. That position   
   is obviously a bit adventuresome and certainly open to criticism. I   
   regret that you did not bother to attempt it.
