XPost: alt.politics, alt.anarchism, alt.freedom       XPost: alt.politics.socialism       From: publicmien@yahoo.com.INV              In article <1185097847.619122.149250@k79g2000hse.googlegroups.com>,       danny99@bezeqint.net says...       >       >Anarchists oppose the state because the state can make laws which       >restrict the freedom of movement for individuals who are not allowed       >to go to live where they want. For example if i want to go to Canada       >without permission the state can deport and arrest me. Without a state       >everyone could go to live where he wants, without being deported and       >put in prison by the government.       >       We are all born in a fallen state, dead in our (via Adam) trespass.       The Lord has given us a picture of Himself as a fortress, and an       immovable rock.       (e.g.: "The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;       my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the       horn of my salvation, and my high tower." [Ps 18:2]) But we are born       apart from the LORD, outside of the fortress. How do we get saved?       Simple: "Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole       duty of man."[Ec 12:13]              The only problem with this prescription for salvation is that it       is impossible for us to do this to the standard of perfection required       of God. It cannot reconcile the separation we suffer in our rebellious,       fallen condition. Unless our righteousness exceeds that of the most devout       of His people we will in no wise enter into His Kingdom. No one, no not one of       us. [Rm. 1,2,3:10, Ma 5:20, Ps 14:3]              But God commended His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners,       Christ died for us. God gave His only begotten Son as the substitutionary       death in our place, effectively opening the road into His Kingdom to the       likes of us--He earned it and shares it with us. What does He ask in return?       Only that we accept that we must throw ourselves entirely on His mercy...       then with the cleansing blood of Christ, God is faithful and Just to       forgive us our sins. [c.f.: Rm 5:8,Jn 3:16, 1Jn 1:9]              How cool is that. Those borders are eternal, and you enter into eternal life       the moment you believe that Jesus Christ the Son died for you,       and was resurrected by God, and now sits at the right hand of the Father.              And if you pray a sinners prayer and confess with your mouth that Jesus is       Lord,       and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead,       the Holy Spirit of God will come upon you       to comfort you, teach you, and dwell in you, and never forsake you.       [c.f.: Romans 10:10, 1John 4:15,Ephesians 1:13]               "That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.       In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel       of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with       that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until       the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory."       [Ephesians 1:12-14]                     --       .       "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution."       2 Timothy 3:12              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
