|    Down with Beijing Olympic Torch!    |

XPost: soc.culture.china, talk.politics.china, alt.books.george-orwell       From: dank@nugget.org              I traveled to San Francisco on Wednesday to protest the Olympic Torch       headed to the 2008 Olympics in the communist police state of China.              My protest was simple and consisted of a sign reading:               SAN FRANCISCO WELCOMES        POLITICAL PROTESTERS               BEIJING KILLS THEM              And then I made up some slogans to harass the Chinese with, such as:               "Freedom of speech, freedom of thought, freedom        to protest without getting shot!"               "Chinese Communist Party is evil brainwashing cult!"               "Outlaw evil communist brainwashing cults!"               "Re-educate all members of communist brainwashing cults!"               "Brain-wash! Ty-rants! "But-chers!" (counterchant)                     I had so much fun yelling at Chinese tourists, mocking them as I       pointed out they couldn't engage in a similar protest in China       without being executed. I don't know why China even allows its       citizens to travel to witness such free speech, unless it is       convinced that its citizens are sufficiently indoctrinated and       brainwashed to resist it.              ===============================================       "Freedom of speech, freedom of thought, freedom       to protest without getting shot!"       -- my slogan       ===============================================              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
