   Actually, they weren't. The persecutions took place primarily in   
   Eastern Europe, Germany and Austria.   
   There were none in North America, South America, Australia,   
   Asia,Africa,or any of the following European countries:   
      
   Sweden, Denmark,Norway,Greece,Ireland, Scotland, Wales.   
      
   There are now laws in Germany and Russia forbidding discrimination   
   against Jews.
