Governments are often shown to be wrong. Protecting the identity
and safety of its citizens however cannot be wrong. This is one of
   the few reasons for government.

If a significant portion of people felt as you do then governments
would be disbanded and everyone could have a big free-for-all. But
most people want to consort with those most like themselves in
values and traditions. For this reason they empower governments
   to ensure their security.

Metaphysics and philosophy mean little to survival. Thanks to
a de facto world market and improved transportation and communications,
people and goods have moved about fairly freely these past fifty years.
But as econometrics worsen and wars of preemption increase, the western
governments are beginning to succumb to internal demands to withdraw,
tighten their borders and purse strings. This is not "statolatry". This
is a call for sanity in an insecure world.

Each nation is defined legally and psychologically by its borders and
dominant culture and language. This is an immutable feature of
human territoriality. When people anticipate hard times national
identity and cohesion increase. With this comes resistance to
   perceived outsiders whatever their form.

So while you may claim a 'right' to another's territory, prepare
   for a fight.
