   Are you sure you mean "mistranslated"? The literal translation of "mkshphe   
   la thchie" is "one-being-cnchantress not your shall-let-live". It is   
   archaic, primitive and tribal and an admonition of ignorant goat herders,   
   but not really a mistranslation. The word is found only twice in the Old   
   Testament. Technically the word means one who whispers a spell.   
      
   If you meant "misguided" then you are right.
