You are in the minority of atheists who have expressed a view.

For 2.3% of the population you atheists have more factions, schisms

   @ Powers of the devas
   @
@ From a human perspective, devas share the characteristic
@ of being invisible to the physical human eye. The presence
@ of a deva can be detected by those humans who have opened
@ the divyacak?us (Pali: dibbacakkhu), an extrasensory power
@ by which one can see beings from other planes. Their
@ voices can also be heard by those who have cultivated
@ a similar power of the ear.
   @
@ Most devas are also capable of constructing illusory
@ forms by which they can manifest themselves to the
@ beings of lower worlds; higher and lower devas even
@ have to do this between each other.
   @
@ Devas do not require the same kind of sustenance as
@ humans do, although the lower kinds do eat and drink.
@ The higher sorts of deva shine with their own intrinsic
   @ luminosity.
   @
@ Devas are also capable of moving great distances speedily
@ and of flying through the air, although the lower devas
@ sometimes accomplish this through magical aids such as a
   @ flying chariot."

Do Atheists borrow these Magic Chariots on the weekends???

          BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAAHAA

   @ " Types of deva
   @
@ The devas of the Arupyadhatu have no physical form or location,
@ and they dwell in meditation on formless subjects.

Sounds like some Nappisan and Abu'Baker discussing
         probability! B^)

@ "They do not interact with the rest of the universe."

That is definitely some of the atheists in alt.atheistan!!

   BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAAHAHAHAHAH!

So where are the Great Atheist Civilizations? On any Map?

Can we get an Invisible Deva Chariot and go see some of them?

Prove that there is a meaningful difference between Deva's,
Genies, Gods and other supernatural beings! Deva's and Genies
perform miracles and possess supernatural powers, just like Jesus!
(Except Jesus had a real, physical body and your Deva's DONT! B^D

We all lack your mystical powers and knowledge of your invisible sky
friends.. just tell us how they are different - how you know about all
these invisible entities, why you believe in (some of?/all of?) them
and how you know the properties of each, especially the one's you claim
do not exist. I am most interested in the PROOF you have for the
supernatural beings you believe in. B^]

BTW, there is no need to be abusive, it simply shows how your
temper is fraying because your argument about your invisible
sky friends is so weak. B^)

As the Mahayana tradition is not only part of the Buddhist tradition,
but is the larger of the two schools, it is most certainly part of
the Buddhist tradition.. and you seem to be exposed as ignorant, and
   lacking a point!

"As a living tradition, Mahayana is the larger of the two major
traditions of Buddhism existing today, the other being Theravada."

"When a simpleton abused him, Buddha listened to him in silence,
but when the man had finished asked him,
"Son, if a man declined to accept a present offered to him,
         to whom would it belong?"
The man answered "To him who offered it."
"My son," Buddha said, "I decline to accept your abuse.
          Keep it for yourself."
