So you think we shouldn't have it?
Why do *you* get to decide what people should believe?

   > Children inculcated by parents have little choice.

There is always a choice. My own religious beliefs are completely
different from those of my parents, who's beliefs were quite different
   from those of their parents.

   > Just about every suicide bomber comes from such a background.

Really? And you know this how?

   > Brainwashed by their own parents into taking their own lives - over
   > what? Nothing - simply a myth.

Suicide attack has been a military strategy since long before the modern
era, and probably pre-dates all the religions we currently criticise for
   promoting it.

Strangely, the Abrahamic religions frown on suicide. They believe suicide
   is a ticket to hell.

   Muslims in particular believe:

"Indeed, whoever (intentionally) kills himself, then certainly he will be
punished in the Fire of Hell, wherein he shall dwell forever" [Bukhaaree
   (5778) and Muslim (109 and 110)].

So the current crop of suicide bombers do it in spite of religion rather
   than because of it.
