As nemo-toad was not only condemning the Church's cover-up
of paedophile priests as I had been doing, but also expressing
a view uncommon among atheists, that it is not God who is responsible
for the evil acts of men.. but those men themselves.. I, being
a rational man, without prejudice, supported him.
It is only subsequent to that polite and balanced response to
atheists that I have been set upon, learned how rabid their
fundamentalism is.. and responded with vigor to their calumny
