   Syrian officials call for unifying stances of free world in support of just

   Damascus, (SANA)_Speaker of the People's Assembly, Mohammad Jihad al-Laham   
   called for unifying the stances of the free world peoples, especially the   
   trade unions and world parliaments as to serve the just causes of peoples and   
   their right to self-   
   determination.    
      
   Meeting the Women's International Democratic Federation delegation on Sunday,   
   al-Laham reviewed what Syria has been facing at the hands of the US [The World   
   Tyrant/NATO] and Western-backed terrorist groups, indicating that the [media]   
   incitement against    
   the Syrian state has been designed to justify a US [World Tyrant] aggression   
   against it.    
      
   The Speaker said Syria has announced an overarching package of social,   
   political and economic reforms since the outset of the crisis, but, he said,   
   the    
      
   *methodical media incitement* against the Syrian state and    
      
   the US and Western [World Tyrant/NATO] threats have proven the claims of these   
   countries [The World Tyrant/NATO] to be false and groundless.    
      
   "The main objective of this conspiracy is subjugating Syria to outside   
   dictates and diverting it from its stances in support of the resistance,"   
   al-Laham said.    
      
   Al-Laham hailed the role of friendly countries and their genuine efforts to   
   preserve world peace and security and defend international laws and   
   conventions.    
      
   Marcia Campos, head of the [WIDF] delegation, said the delegation's visit   
   comes to get acquainted with the situation unfolding in Syria away from media   
   disinformation, indicating that the Federation "opposes the interference of   
   imperialist countries,    
   first and foremost the US [The World TYrant], in the affairs of sovereign   
   states."    
      
   Campos said the Federation is well aware of the "organized international   
   terrorism" targeting Syria, affirming that "the Federation members won't stand   
   idle against *any* aggression against peoples."

   Hilal meets women's international delegation currently visiting Syria    
      
   Assistant Regional Secretary of al-Baath Arab Socialist Party, Hilal Hilal   
   discussed with the Women's International Democratic Federation delegation   
   means of enhancing communications between the al-Baath Party and the   
   Federation and exchanging views and    
   information in support of joint causes as to serve peace and justice.    
      
   Hilal reviewed the effective participation of the Syrian women in confronting   
   the terrorist war waged by international [World Tyrant/NATO] and regional   
   powers [Saudi Arabia, Turkey, etc] against Syria, asserting that "the Syrian   
   people are so sure about    
   victory."    
      
   The delegation, which comprises women from Brazil, Greece, Turkey, India,   
   Lebanon and Jordan, conveyed the solidarity of these countries with the Syrian   
   women and people in defense of their homeland.    
      
   The delegation members said their visit is aimed at getting acquainted with   
   the situation on the ground and showing solidarity with the Syrian people who   
   are paying the price for buttressing the independence of their country.    
      
   The members affirmed that the media disinformation has begun to recede in the   
   region and the world amid a public opinion eager for facts about the situation   
   in Syria.

   Mikdad: Western sanctions against Syria inhumane    
      
   For his part, Deputy Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Dr. Fayssal Mikdad   
   discussed with the delegation the situation in Syria and the suffering of   
   Syrian women due to the terrorist war waged against it "which has detracted   
   from the achievements made by    
   Syrian women over decades."    
      
   Mikdad indicated that the Syrian leadership has believed in a political   
   solution all along and expressed readiness to go to Geneva without   
   preconditions and away from foreign meddling so as the Syrians can hold   
   dialogue on the present and future of their    
   country.    
      
   He stressed that the Western [World Tyrant/NATO] sanctions against Syria are   
   inhumane which have particularly impacted women, children and weak social   
   categories.    
      
   For her part, Campos said the [WIDF] delegation's visit comes to have a   
   first-hand account of the events unfolding in Syria away from hostile media   
   which is portraying events according to its [The World Tyrant's] liking.    
      
   Campos said the WIDF supports Syria and denounces *any* foreign interference

   Abdurrahman's [Ossama Suleiman'] influence extends far beyond his modest home   
   in this small English city.    
      
   The bald, bespectacled 42-year-old operates the [World Tyrant's] Syrian   
   Observatory for Human Rights from his house in the cathedral city of Coventry   
   --and a review of recent [World Tyrant/NATO] media coverage suggests its   
   running tally of killings and    
   clashes is the most frequently cited individual source of information on   
   Syria's civil war [actually, The World TYrant's proxy war against the Syrian   
   Arab Republic] for the world's [the World Tyrant/NATO's] leading news   
   organizations.    
      
   "He's just everywhere," said Joshua Landis, the director of the Center for   
   Middle East Studies at the University of Oklahoma.  "He's the go-to guy for   
   [fake] figures.  ...I can't think of anybody who comes close."    
      
   Abdurrahman [Ossama Suleiman], who *says* he makes his living from a local   
   clothing shop, says the Observatory relies on four unnamed activists in Syria   
   and a wider network of monitors across the country to document and verify   
   clashes and killings.    
      
   But as the Observatory has increasingly found itself at the center of Western   
   [World Tyrant/NATO] reporting on Syria's civil [war {actually, The World   
   TYrant's proxy war against the Syrian Arab Republic}], some say his figures   
   --and his sources-- need    
   more scrutiny.    
      
   He said he received money from a European [NATO] human rights group, but   
   declined to name it.  Only after prodding did he *say* he had been receiving   
   less than 100,000 euros ($137,000) a year since 2012 in support of his work
