Odd that (supposedly educated) teachers would be so misinformed about
the American political system as to think they can buy senators and
governors seats rather then promoting working policies to get them.

Is it really any wonder that their students fail to meet minimum standards?

They needed to spend that money to determine what policies actually work
rather than creating propaganda to promote their old failed Socialist
   policies.
