   I have no religion. I don't care what they do as long as it doesn't   
   interfere with my constitutional rights.   
      
   They can sell Kosher food or sell pork, I don't really care.   
      
   I suppose I look at religion much like ethnic customs.  Some people do   
   things the way their culture does it and religion is a culture of it's   
   own. Complaining about religious symbols is like complaining about Greek   
   culture or Spanish culture being in government buildings, I don't have a   
   problem with Greek design or statues or history and I don't mind Spanish   
   art or Spanish architecture or History.   
      
   So why would religions be any more offensive?

   Great book and the scene was very religious and cultish with drinking   
   blood and cursing the whale....  but why would I care, it's still an   
   entertaining book. And I'd argue that it's more interesting with that   
   religious twist than without it.
