   It's true and it's sort of funny/sad   
      
      
   Black slaves and slave owners could also be black, it's equality isn't   
   it, like a black man growing up to become President a black could grow   
   up to be a slave owner or a slave.   
      
      
   I chuckle because it's like gays sex "right or wrong" we have to be   
   equal like we were with slavery, so American Slavery held all the   
   markers that today's American Liberals hold.  It was fair like gay   
   marriage is fair, rather than being moral like right or wrong is used in   
   other ideologies.   
      
   Now we see what ideological principals the American form of slavery was   
   built upon, it was modern Liberalism.
