   No, it does not. Weather moves energy around the atmosphere and oceans. The   
   Earth is cooled by radiation from the night side and poles. Some radiation from   
   the surface, and some from the tops of atmospheric convection cells.   
      
   Solar, wind, tidal, etc, power extracts heat from the atmosphere and oceans and   
   energy users leak it back.

   Global warming is happens when the radiative cooling is slowed; the heat stays   
   in the lower atmosphere longer, accumulating and raising the temperature.
