   Does this mean all training in self defense is banned by the Scouts?   
      
   How do you learn to survive in the wild or protect an old lady from a   
   purse thief if you can't do anything "unkind" to the animal or person   
   that is threatening you or doing evil to others.   
      
   Doesn't this make the Scouts a pack of simpering useless cowards that   
   can't step up when danger threatens?
