The theory has much appeal for intellectuals. But it all comes down to human
   nature.

Communism implies order and efficiency, but due to the totalitarian
nature "people resisting it" creates far more inefficiency caused by
maintaining the order. The cost/benefit suggests that communism will
always fail because the costs are greater than the benefits.

   > For communism to succeed it requires sharing and co-operation.
Unfortunately, most people are selfish and competitive. Capitalism best takes
   advantage of man's inherent nature.

   Nature is random and wasteful.

But when Communism fails people revert back to barter and Capitalism
which is random and wasteful and natural but it works because it's not
as difficult to maintain (it takes less energy) than control
(micromanage personal lives) and order that communism relies upon.

Communism relies on totalitarian control (forcing people to wok for the
greater good), Capitalism is random and needs no rigid limits or micro
managing (it requires less overhead) and in fact human imposed
regulation and central planning only warps and causes problems in
capitalism. The fewer totalitarian regulations the better capitalism
works. People will serve their own best interest so it's the grass roots
of all political environments. The very closest political movement to
the people since they do with their own money what is best for
themselves, and as they do they will do what's best for most people
since most people are the good people and less than 10% are really evil.

Communism is a failed academic experiment, where a neurosis took over
the author and he tried to step over every crack in human nature to get
   to the utopia of security.

That's probably why Marxists and Leftists always end up being nuts.
