Jen WANTS to be an atheist, but isn't. His anger towards religion
stands as PROOF of this. An atheist won't care if anyone else believes
in any god(s). It's rather silly, but belief doesn't, in and of
   itself, do anyone any harm.
Someone, like Jen, who WANTS to be an atheist, but does actually
believe, will be angry with him/herself for believing. This anger gets
expressed by lashing out in some manner. Sometimes it's rather mild,
like Jen's evidence above. Sometimes it's expressed in much more
   obvious ways.
