   Currently i'm telecommuting by dialing into my companies network via   
   netsupport.  This is obviously ancient technology and would like to live   
   in the modern world, but the one major stumbling block to this is the   
   boss's paranoia with internet security.   
      
   Could anyone provide resources on the pros and cons of VPN technology,   
   it's security strengths and weaknesses and any other information that   
   could help me pursuade the company into stepping into the current times?   
      As much info on security features and the difficulties to bypass as   
   possible would be wonderful.
