|    Linksys RV042 vs BEFVP41 Comparisons    |

From: mike-nospam@traditions-nospam.com              I have a network of BEFVP41 VPN routers connecting various remote offices       together. All of the offices have broadband connections with Dynamic IP       addresses. These routers seem to be working OK. I only have two issues:              1. Occasionally, when one of my sites has an IP address change, I need to       reboot the VPN routers to connect properly.       2. Ideally, I would like to set up one tunnel from each of my remote sites       to my central office, and be able to route from one branch office thru the       central VPN router to each of the other remote offices. The BEFVP41 router       will not do this (I need to set up a separate tunnel between each pair of       offices).              I am adding a new remote office soon, and am wondering if I should buy an       RV042 VPN router, or stick with the existing BEFVP41.              Does anyone have any experience with the RV042 routers who could advise me       if it is worth the extra cost to vs. the BEFVP41?              Thanks,       --       Mike Schumann              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
