|    VPN via Gigaset SE515    |

From: devGuy@web.de              Hi,              I'd like to establish a VPN connection from my PC (XP SP2) which is       connected to a Siemens Gigaset SE515 to a Draytek Vigor 2200 router. The       Vigor has VPN server capabilities (it provides PPTP, IPSec tunneling, L2TP,       L2TP over IPSec and direct ISDN dial in). In addition to that Draytek       provides a nice tool to simplify the XP VPN setup.              I'd prefer a L2TP via IPSec connection. Some web pages say that the SE515       provides VPN pass through but it just doesn't wanna run. The manual only       says sth. about port forwarding and the router has some preconfigured       settings e.g. for MS messenger services.              Which ports do I have to forward to my machine? I read that L2TP can answer       on almost every port above 1025 if I'm right. So what do I have to do to       pass my NAT?              Thanx a lot in advance,              Fabian              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
