   I am connecting successfully using the Symantec VPN Client 8 to our Symantec   
   200R firewall box. However, when the VPN client connects, it seems to stop   
   the XP SP2 firewall. I'm a little worried that when I'm connected via the   
   VPN, my PC might be vulnerable.  There seems to be no way to get round this.   
   The VPN Client 8 installation has put an exception for itself in the   
   exception list of the firewall but that would not normally stop the   
   firewall.   
      
   Any ideas?
